high quality streaming audio and video for radio stations, t.v stations, live
concerts, sports events and corporate event broadcasters who wish to charge their
visitors to access their media. The intelligent bandwidth control feature allows
you to selectively control bandwidth being used to control cost and increase security
against unauthorised access.
There is an opportunity to apply multiple access solutions to your media to
suit your needs.
1. try & buy or pay per minute .... live programmes, interviews,
concerts and sporting events broadcasters can offer a free preview of 5 minutes
of a show, then redirect visitor to option for purchasing various viewing blocks
of time, e.g. 15mins, 30mins, 60mins at different prices....
2. premium subscription .... allows subscribers to your site
addition features, e.g. sell limited number of tickets to view an online sporting
event. When the limit has been reached, the tickets are sold out. The event finishes
at 6pm, and the award ceremony is between 6 and 7pm. Those premium subscribers
will be able to access the ceremony while regular ticket holders cannot.
Or allow subscribers access to a library of media content.
3. cost control / bandwidth control .... a radio station can
broadcast a low quality stream, but allow subscribers to access high quality stream
of radio station.

Windows Media Player. We will also be incorporating Windows Media Services 9 when
released for a step forward in to the future of digital entertainment bringing
